Following their Top 100 Best Buy and Top 100 Cellar Selections the prestigious wine publication Wine Enthusiast has released what they refer to as the big one – The Enthusiast 100! A list of standout wines that have been tasted during 2017, to buy and drink over the next few years.
In the 2017 list Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Terrassen 2016 has made position #68 with 90 points.
‘Fresh Conference pear notes abound on the nose of this wine. The palate is sprightly and fresh, with a zestier core of lime and pear peel. Slender in frame, it dances on the palate, displaying seriousness and levity at the same time. The finish is totally refreshing.’
The success continues for Domäne Wachau with three wines gaining 90+ ratings in the latest edition of Wine Spectator.

This direct white bursts with flavors of guava, white flowers and grapefruit peel. Shows complexity, with an intense sea salt note zipping through the slightly thicker texture.
Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Achleiten 2015 with 90 points
Tightly wound and precise, with ripe Gala apple and peach flavors at the core, delivered by firm acidity that also provides a serious structure.
Domäne Wachau Riesling Federspiel Terrassen 2016 with 91 points
A fleshy style, with fine intensity to the apple, grapefruit, elderflower and white pepper flavors. Open and succulent, this leaves a mouthwatering impression on the finish.
