Nomad Outland Whisky, a unique whisky born in Scotland and raised in Jerez, has earned 91 points in the recent Ultimate Spirits Challenge.
Ultimate Spirits Challenge is the spirits competition from Ultimate Beverage Challenge. The Ultimate Beverage Challenge gives the highest ratings to those products deemed the best by their competitive performance among their peers in each product category, in the case of Nomad, the World Whiskies category. This international competition is seen as one of the most credible and relevant in the industry due to the fact that all products are tasted blind multiple time by an experienced judging panel made up of press, bartenders and spirits experts.
Nomad is a unique premium blend of Scotch whisky which is married for 3 years in ex Oloroso casks in Scotland before being transferred to Jerez where it will spend 12 months in ex Pedro Ximenez casks in the historic cellars of González Byass, an authentic rarity changing the rules of whisky making.
5+5 stands for the five generation of the González who have led the company into 21st century, and for the next five generation who will continue a mission based on the good work done so far.
